You can conveniently make deposits to your Checking account in person, by mail, through Mobile Deposit, with Direct Deposit, at a deposit-taking ATM or by using the Bill Pay or transfer service from another Financial Institution.

Pay with Confidence

An overdraft occurs when you don’t have enough money in your checking account to cover a transaction. If you write a check, use your debit card or send a bill payment that would cause your account to go negative, the transaction may be declined (due to Non-Sufficient Funds) or you may overdraw your account into a negative balance.

Your Checking account will be linked to your Savings, so that when a transaction attempts to clear that would cause your Checking to go negative, but you have funds available in your Savings; we’ll automatically transfer the funds to cover the transaction for you (Overdraft Transfer Fee applies).

Kit also offers Safety Net, our Overdraft Protection Plan, to help you avoid the embarrassment and cost of returned item fees or declined transactions. Instead of returning items or declining transactions that you do not have the funds to cover; Kit may, at our discretion, pay the items (Safety Net Overdraft Fee applies). If you qualify for Safety Net and would like the Credit Union to authorize and pay one-time debit card transactions you will need to Opt-In.

To sign up for Safety Net, log in to Online Banking, go to “My Profile” then select Overdraft preferences. This will allow you to set up your overdraft preferences. Or, you may sign and return the Opt-In form.
