Refer a Friend to Kit and You Could Both Earn $25!
Refer a family member, friend or co-worker to open an account with Kit, and you and the person you refer could each receive $25!* As a reminder; anyone who lives, works, worships, volunteers or attends school in Jefferson County, as well as any immediate family of a current Kit member, are able to join Kit.
Not only will you help your friends save money with Kit’s competitive loan rates, free Checking and premium savings rates; you can help them earn an account opening bonus as well. After all, sharing is caring and that’s what great friends like you are for!
Qualifications:
In order for you both to earn the $25 referral bonus, your friend must inform us they were referred by you and open one of the following accounts and services:
1. Checking account with monthly automatic deposit and enrollment in eStatements
Or
2. Consumer loan (vehicle loan, personal loan or credit card) and enrollment in eStatements
Simply share the great news of Kit with your friends and family. If they apply online, they will need to put your full name in the referral field of the application. If they come to the branch to open an account, they’ll just need to let the Member Service Representative know that they were referred by you.
You must be a current Kit member in good standing to participate. Once your eligible account is open, you can start referring others.
*Must be 18 or older to participate in referral bonus. New member must give name of referring member at the time of account opening. In order for both the referred individual and the referring member to each qualify for and receive the referral reward, accounts must be in good standing and the following conditions must be met: 1. New member opens a Kit Checking account, has an automatic deposit and enrolls in eStatements; or 2. New member opens a direct consumer loan (direct vehicle, credit card or personal loan) and enrolls in eStatements. Current and new member will receive their referring bonus (if qualifications are met) after 30 business days of qualifying new member account opening. Referral bonuses will be deposited into the member’s Primary Savings account. Referral bonus is limited to 10 referrals per calendar year, per member. Real Estate loans, Student loans, Payday Alternative loans are not eligible account types for referral bonus.
Employees and Volunteers of the credit union are not eligible to receive referral bonuses.
The Member Referral Program may be terminated or withdrawn at any time, and is subject to change at any time, with or without prior notice. Referral rewards may be reported as income to the IRS and may be taxable to you.
